Diving into the science of Consciousness, including recent theories in neuroscience, we reference how ancient practices in Zen Philosophy and Buddhist Meditation influence the functioning of Mind. This practical holistic approach allows us to interface directly with deeper levels of consciousness, separating mental associations, concepts, and thought patterns from the transcendental.

Combining ideas from Psychology, Neuroscience, & Eastern Philosophy we will approach both the scientific and spiritual aspects of 'Self Experience' as a Holistic phenomenon that elucidates the formation of our perspective, our outlook on the world, and even our personal identity.

This workshop is led by Montclair State University Professor of Psychology Daniel Martin Rynerson from with a focus on Cognitive Science and Neuro-Psychology balanced with initiation in Kriya Yoga and training in Thai Yogic Therapy from the SomaVeda School of Natural Medicine.
